As a certified mindfulness and meditation teacher, I integrate mindfulness practice into therapy where it is appropriate. In addition — or independently — I also offer mindfulness training (MBSR).

What does mindfulness mean?
Mindfulness refers to becoming more aware of inner processes without immediately judging or trying to change them. In practice, it helps to:
- recognise automatic patterns of thinking, feeling and behaviour
- gain distance from distressing thoughts and emotions
- regulate emotional reactions more effectively
- relate more consciously to one’s own resources and limits
- foster processes of change
Mindfulness thus provides a foundation for reflective action rather than reactive patterns.
When can mindfulness training be helpful?
Mindfulness training may be particularly helpful in cases of:
- persistent stress or exhaustion
- high professional or emotional strain
- inner restlessness, rumination or anxiety
- psychosomatic complaints
- the wish for greater inner stability and a more conscious way of living
MBSR – a structured training programme
MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is a standardised, scientifically well-researched training programme, created by Jon Kabat-Zinn and further developed, among others, by Mark Williams.
The programme combines:
- guided mindfulness meditations
- simple body-based exercises
- everyday-oriented reflection
No prior experience is required.
Formats
MBSR is an 8-week group programme (maximum 12 participants), including one evening class per week and one practice day after the 6th week. If required, I also offer shorter mindfulness courses in individual or couple settings.
Many clients begin with individual therapy sessions and later choose to join an MBSR course — or vice versa.
